LAGO NAKURU/MASAI MARA
Program
Day 1: NAIROBI – LAKE NAKURU (180 kms.)
Arrival from Europe at “Jomo Kenyatta” International Airport in Nairobi; after customs and immigration procedures, depart towards Lake Nakuru, across the spectacular fracture of the Rift Valley. Arrival at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar at lunchtime. Check-in and lunch at the Lodge. After some relax by the scenic swimming pool, game drive around the lake to spot pink flamingoes and other beautiful species of birds inhabitant of the Park, where you will also find rhinos, waterbucks, gazelles, impalas, and with a little luck, even leopards.
Return to the Lodge for a sundowner whilst enjoying the wonderful views of the lake.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge o similar.
Day 2: LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA (330-350 kms.)
Early morning breakfast and then depart towards Masai Mara National Park crossing the Rift Valley and via Longonot – Narok region arrival at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar in time for lunch. Check-in and lunch at the lodge/camp. Afternoon game drive in Masai Mara National Park till sunset.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 3: MASAI MARA
Whole day spent on game drives in Masai Mara National Park to discover its beautiful wildlife.
Full board accommodation at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 4: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI “JOMO KENYATTA” AIRPORT (330 kms.)
Early morning breakfast and depart heading to Nairobi with a last game drive when leaving the Park. Arrival in Nairobi by lunch hours. Lunch at the famous restaurant “Carnivore”, where you can try different types of grilled meat. After lunch, transfer to “Jomo Kenyatta” International Airport on time for flight back to Europe or to Mombasa (for those extending their staying on the Kenyan coast)
