A day in Africa – Funzi Island
Funzi Island Bay is a tropical paradise in the middle of nowhere, where the warm, crystal clear waters of the Indic Ocean gently bathes the wide banks of white coralline sands.
Explore the meandering course of Ramisi River, fascinating for its wild nature, and habitat to many crocodiles and rare, splendid, colorful tropical birds.
Coming back from exploring the river, it is normal to see schools of dolphins playing in the bay in front of Funzi Island. The last stage is the tongue of sand in the center of the bay, where you can enjoy a swim in the warm and limpid waters of the ocean, and quench your thirst with a fresh drink before returning to Funzi Island.
After a stroll across the island heading to Funzi village, arrive to the restaurant, surrounded by rich and lush vegetation, where you’ll be treated to an exquisite lunch based of fish and seafood.
